Warsaw's city center transformed into a magical land for more than a week as the Wars Sawa Junior Ice Sculpture Festival provided unique festive holiday attractions for everyone and delighted crowds.
The fantastic Christmas ice sculpture installation drew customers to the shopping destination. The festival opened with a special live sculpting show; the sculptures later became part of the permanent exhibition.
Surprises, gifts, and competitions with prizes delighted customers. Everyone could try their hand at chipping an ice block to get to a valuable gift card contained inside. Many tried and, although not every attempt was successful, each was accompanied by broad smiles and lots of holiday cheering.
We also prepared a special surprise for Wars Sawa Junior customers. Customers could exchange a receipt from any WSJ tenant for a Christmas gift – a personalized Christmas bag, mulled non-alcoholic wine or delicious sweets.
DJs dressed up as Santa Claus boosted the holiday atmosphere with their exceptional mix of Christmas hits and there was no shortage of dancing, singing and photos.
On social channels we celebrated the Ice Sculpture Festival with a Facebook competition for the most creative event photo. Illuminated by colorful lights, shiny ice sculptures were a perfect subject for photography, so it's no wonder that the Wars Sawa Junior fanpage collected dozens of competition entries in a flash.
