Valkea Among the Best
In a successful end to 2019, Valkea has once again won awards in Poland and abroad. Our visual design of the ad campaign promoting Galeria Katowicka’s “Katowice for Autism” project received the Gold Award in the international 2019 ICSC Solal Marketing Awards. “The Look” magazine, designed and produced entirely by Valkea for Galeria Mokotów, won the gold statuette in the Shopping Facility of Magazine the Year category during the 10th-anniversary PRCH Retail Awards 2019 gala.
ICSC Solal Marketing Awards are one of the most important and prestigious marketing awards in the retail industry. This year’s gala took place on September 25, during the ICSC Retail Innovation Forum in London, and Valkea’s creative design stood out among over 200 projects submitted from around the world.
Galeria Katowicka was unrivaled in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category and won the gold for its multifaceted “Katowice for Autism” program. The project is unique on a European scale for leveraging the shopping center’s potential to shape public attitudes and values.
“The Look” magazine for Galeria Mokotów clients is exceptional for its eye-popping visuals and cutting-edge fashion advice, besting many market-leading fashion and lifestyle titles. Valkea has designed, produced and published the magazine since 2018. It is a daring guide to current seasonal trends in colors, patterns, designs, accessories, home decor and beauty. The PRCH Retail Awards competition, organized annually by the Polish Council of Shopping Centers, aims to promote best practices and innovation and reward retail industry players, including retail chains, developers, investors and managers of shopping centers, for setting gold standards. The 10th anniversary PRCH Retail Awards gala took place on October 10, 2019, in the elegant Physics Auditorium of the Warsaw University of Technology.
