Groundbreaking moments require an exceptional setting. One such event was the first energisation of Stacja Elektroenergetyczna Choczewo – a moment that symbolically opened a new chapter in the history of Poland’s energy sector.
Valkea event agency was responsible for the comprehensive delivery of the event, creating the space and experience surrounding this historic occasion for PSE.
The challenge was to create professional event infrastructure in a demanding location – on the premises of the substation, a facility that performs a strategic role in Poland’s national transmission system on a daily basis. The Valkea team was responsible for the entire delivery process: from preparing the space and technical facilities, through event production and multimedia solutions, to logistics and the coordination of all elements required to ensure the smooth running of the ceremony.
Delivering the event in such an unconventional location required precise planning, close cooperation with technical teams and careful consideration of the specific nature of the energy infrastructure. Every element – from the construction of the event space and technical solutions to the comfort of the participants – had to be planned with the utmost precision.
At the heart of the event, a specially designed event zone was created, featuring a tent with an area of approximately 450 m². It became a meeting place for the project’s key participants – representatives of PSE, Spie Energy and Elfeko, as well as representatives of the energy sector and Polish and international public administration.
The ceremony brought together more than 200 guests – representatives of public administration, the energy sector, investment partners and the media. Prime Minister Donald Tusk also attended the event, emphasising the project’s importance for Poland’s energy security and the development of a modern energy sector based on new energy sources.
Thanks to the experience of the Valkea team, the event reflected the significance of one of the most important moments in Poland’s energy transition. The project delivered for Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne is an example of an event in which strategy, production and attention to the participant experience come together to create a coherent story of historic importance.
